ADC Tech Meetup - GenAI
Join us for an engaging tech meetup focused on Generative AI (GenAI), where we dive deep into real-world, production-ready use cases that are shaping industries today. Discover how leading companies are integrating large language models (LLMs) into business processes, not just for experimentation, but for scalable, reliable deployment.
We’ll also explore the crucial question of how to evaluate LLM performance effectively: from benchmark metrics to real-world robustness, hallucination testing, and user-centric evaluation. Beyond the technical layer, we’ll discuss AI governance, ensuring that innovation aligns with transparency, ethics, and accountability.
At ADC, we believe in developing AI applications the right way, combining cutting-edge technology with thoughtful design and responsible implementation.

Session 1: What is AI Governance, really?
Building production grade AI Systems can be a complex undertaking, especially in larger organisations. Does AI Governance make it more or less complex? Can it improve the resulting AI Systems while simultaneously making developers’ lives better? Dr. Jeroen Franse, former Data Scientist and ML Engineer currently AI Governance advisor at ABN AMRO, will investigate what AI Governance means, what it really is about and what its purposes are. By looking at the implementation of various AI Governance components at ABN AMRO in practice, we’ll understand the holistic scope and practical benefits of AI Governance. Warning: side effects may include sudden urge to do AI Governance.
18.30 – 19.10
Session 2: Making GenAI Observable, Measurable, Governable
As organisations race to deploy GenAI applications, they’re discovering a new challenge: evaluating, monitoring, and governing these systems at scale. Ron Kremer, Data & AI Consultant at ADC and PhD researcher in AI at the University of Amsterdam, unpacks why this matters now more than ever. He explores how hidden complexity and fragmented ownership create deployment bottlenecks, then presents a practical framework spanning early iteration to production monitoring. Attendees will learn concrete approaches to micro-metrics, LLM-as-a-Judge techniques, and ownership models that accelerate responsible AI deployment.
